Object of Intrigue-Iteration 1…explore

The journey led me to a significant column on Shropshire, built in 1816 and at that time the tallest column in Europe-Lord Hill’s Column.  A local hero being a significant player in the Battle of Waterloo the column was commissioned and paid for by the people of Shropshire, unlike most Coade Stone paid for by wealth.  The statue has only recently become in need of repair.
