This week’s blog reflects on this week tutorials and the upcoming portfolio review. I have taken a step back and decided to build up/ read and write my thesis and establish what and how my museum preserves the memories, and who is it for? How to capture the present? When do we leave the past behind?
The story boards presented shows the current work I have in progress, which is a series of components (case files).
I have it divided in two columns… the left is presenting the LES Vanishing Archives (the museum and it offers a brief insight of it) and one the right is the Case studies that have/ will inform the proposal, and they should read side by side.
The story boards don’t have a full start to finish story as I have different components that’s will make up the final portfolio… this has prompted a few issues on how my thesis / story will be read by others… These few components although separate items should become a single portfolio and read as such; they don’t necessarily read as sequence, but they should all complement each other independent of the order in which the reader view each of the case studies.
