  1. To add, from my Tuesday notes:

    – Make an examination of the ground / structure relationship exhibited in the buildings at Dungeness. Paying attention also to the need to vary foundations in relation to scale.

    – Look more into what is different / specific about a rhizomatic root structure.

    – Considering your below ground / above ground relationship – are your ‘stems’ (above ground condition) morphologically different (or extend) the below ground structure?

    – Scale: in your drawings, examine the above ground below ground scale relationship (massive roots: tiny plant? Tiny roots: massive plant)?

    – Make some drawings that show the root and shingle relationship ‘in the round’. The current drawings are relatively flat, produce some that understand the 3d relationship of roots to shingle.
